We are breeders of fine alpacas in Boulder Creek, California; located near Santa Cruz on the California central coast. Alpacas are members of one of four South American camelid families. They are closely related to llamas, guanacos and vicunas. They are intelligent and curious animals with gentle spirits. Alpacas are producers of the most preferred and luxurious fiber in the world. Viewed as a viable livestock investment by some, our animals have afforded us with a peaceful and serene lifestyle allowing us to live life at our own pace.

As well as breeding and selling alpacas, Golden Eagle Alpaca Ranch offers on site stud services and stud leasing. We offer a free consultation service which includes but is not limited to alpaca breeding, husbandry, maintenance, fence and shelter building, and fiber and fiber processing solutions. We offer agistment services for all new buyers. We guarantee all our breeding stock to be 100% reproductively sound. We believe strongly in our code of ethics and operate our business in accordance with our written policy. All of our animals are ARI registered and raised in a nurturing and supportive environment.
